PRP therapy is most often used for mild to moderate osteoarthritis and pain, but also for muscles, ligaments and vision. In the meantime, the procedure is even used for acute bone fractures (fractures) as well as for tennis elbow (or Tennis elbows) and tendon problems.

With the use of the body's own platelet-rich plasma (PRP), pain treatment can be performed and often the mobility of the joints can be improved.

The body's own blood contains white and red blood cells (leucocytes and erythrocytes) as well as platelets (thrombocytes) and growth hormones. Privately insured persons should consult with their insurance company before treatment whether the benefits are included in the respective contract.
